2016 batch Champa Mehra’s father is suffering from a serious illness of high blood sugar and kidney failure. Champa, who went to Nainital on leave on 23 March, was to return to Dehradun on 26 March. While Champa’s father was not feeling well, she was considering an extension of leave, but amid the Corona crisis in the country, Champa decided to return to duty.
Champa also assured the family members that duty was a big responsibility towards the society in this difficult time. When the buses were not running, Champa decided to come to Doon with his scooter. After the consent of the family, Champa left Nainital for Doon at seven in the morning of 25 March.
