Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has completed 4000 runs in his Test career on Thursday, the first day of the second test against Sri Lanka here on Thursday. Pujara is playing 50th Test match. He is fourth in the list of fastest batsmen to complete 4000 runs. Pujara has completed 4000 runs of Test career by playing 84 innings total. He has thus equated India’s legendary Rahul Dravid.
He also completed 4000 runs in his 84 innings. Sehwag is the top-ranked batsman in the list of the fastest batsmen to complete 4000 runs from India. He did this in 79 innings. Then there is the name of Sunil Gavaskar in second place, who achieved this achievement in 81 innings.
After this, Virender Sehwag and Dravid had achieved this feat in 48 matches. Pujara is also fourth in this list.
