Delhi: Eight thousand North Delhi Municipal Corporation School teachers have not received salary for the last three months.
Northern Corporation teachers are currently needed for rationing and critical services due to lockdown. Corporation Commissioner Varsha Joshi said in a tweet that teachers ‘salary will be released on Monday till January. The teachers have not yet received any assurance regarding of February and March salaries.
DU salary demand: DU guest teachers ‘salary is on hold. DU Executive Committee representatives wrote a letter to Vice Chancellor requesting salary for guest teachers. Executive Committee member Rajesh Jha said several guest teachers have not been compensated since July 2019.
