The victim told police that she had an argument with Singh over a monetary issue, and during this argument, he pushed her and pulled her hair.
The victim and Singh have known each other for the last five years.
The Versova police on Tuesday recorded an First Information Report against singer Mika Singh after the Mumbai-based fashion designer contacted the police and claimed that he had outraged her modesty.
In accordance with the Versova police, the 27-year-old woman claimed in her complaint that she was at Singh’s Juhu home at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday when the event happened.
Joint Commissioner of Police Deven Bharti verified that an FIR had been recorded against Singh and added in that he ended up being booked for assault and outraging a woman’s modesty under the Indian Penal Code.
