An extraordinary picture has been taken displaying a drowned fox closed in a block of ice following it fell into a frozen river, as bitterly freezing temperatures mop throughout Europe.
The nimal broke through thin ice on the River Danube near Fridingen on 9 January and was found four days afterwards.
