The very first ‘TOWN HALL’ for any Prime Minister : Narendra Modi talks on ‘Gau Raksha’ in India.
Held in the style of Obama-Zuckerberg , in this first Town Hall of the country, the question bank for PM Narendra Modi was preplanned.
In his one and half hour speech, the PM emphasised on the schemes and achievements of the government.
It was at the end of his speech when he gave a big talk on the ‘cow protection issue’ he said, “I’ve seen many people who carry out anti-social activities all night and during the day they wear the garb of ‘Gau Rakshaks’ (cow protectors)”.
He added , “ I feel angry when people, in the name of cow protection, do business”.
This is the first time in his tenure as PM when Narendra Modi got a chance to avowedly talk on the cow protection issue.
There have been a series of attacks by these so-called ‘cow vigilantes’ over the past few weeks. Putting the light on this PM Narendra Modi showed disagreement on the thoughts and actions of these vigilantes.
