This is a new feature. I a short while ago withdraw it from an ATM and was amazed. I examined for other indicators of counterfeiting instantly but couldn’t find anything amiss.
If you haven’t recognized anything still, please look at the five black lines embossed at both the sides of the note. These imprinted black lines are exclusively designed in Braille language for visually challenged (Differently abled) people. This assists them to recognize real/fake notes or even the specific denomination.
There are 6 lines (in the left and right border) instead of 5 embossed in Braille in case of Rs. 1000 note.
