In the recent terrorist attack on an army camp in Kashmir. Terrorist killed 17 Army soldiers and injured 19 in a sucide attack. Four terrorist struck the camp close to the headquarter of the 12th Brigade at Uri in Baramulla District.
Rageing with anger the Indian Army may seek permission for certain operations and to post cannons at LOC to increase security. Security forces believe that the Government should permit Indian army to counter attack on terrorist camps situated beyond Pakistan’s borders. The Government has not yet decided, the subject matter is still under consideration.
“Instead of adopting a soft approach towards terrorists, the Centre and the state government should adopt a decisive and pro-active policy and formulate an action plan to flush out and eliminate all militants,” BJP’s state unit spokesperson Virender Gupta said.
“Enough is enough. The time has come when our forces should be asked to attack and destroy the militant training camps across the border,” he said.
