Or did they? well if certain aged articles of instances of India and Deccan usher in are to be believed, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade might be the primary man to invent the aircraft. And that too, he did that almost a decade in advance of the Wright Brothers, who are sincerely credited for the discovery. Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, born in Maharashtra, reportedly constructed and flew an unmanned plane known as MarutSakha in 1895, earlier than it eventually crashed. it is said that he acquired the designs from his Guru and the plane allegedly had a mercury ion engine. it’s also said that he couldn’t cross beforehand together with his prototype aircraft because of scarcity of price range.
Subsequently, no recognition for his fulfillment was ever offered to him.
