On Friday, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgaon killed two militants after a long encounter, while another militant was surrounded. On Friday morning, the army and CRPF jawans received news of some terrorists being hiding in a house. The soldiers surrounded the whole house and asked the terrorists to surrender.
An official said that the terrorists inside the house started firing at the army personnel. In a village of Bijbheda area of south Kashmir, there was a clash between the security forces and the three terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba. The security forces surrounded the terrorists in a house. After receiving intelligence about the presence of three terrorists in a house, the security forces along with the army started the siege of a house in Malik Mohalla of Arvani village after which the encounter started this morning.
Security forces took the siege of the house at eight o’clock in the morning and waited for two hours but the first bullet shot at home at 10 o’clock. Officials said that the pellets of pellet guns hit five persons when they tried to hinder the anti-terrorist campaign. Talking to the terrorists, there were indications that locals stranded in the house were a local boy, Junaid Mattoo, Azad Malik and a Pakistani terrorist.
