On Monday night the Amarnath pilgrims’ bus was attacked by terrorists in Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. Eight devotees have died in the attack. The attack took place at around 8.20 pm. A dozen devotees have also been injured. All the injured have been admitted to nearby hospital.
The attack took place when a bus full of Amarnath passengers was going from Baltal to Mir Bazar. Meanwhile, the terrorists started firing on the bus. After this attack, security arrangements have been tightened. As a precaution, the Jammu-Srinagar highway has been closed.
Significantly, in the wake of terror attacks during the Amarnath yatra, security arrangements have been made at several levels. Claims were made for the safety of each passenger. In such a case, it is a big question that how terrorists become successful in targeting the devotees. Not only this, more security forces have been deployed on behalf of the Central Government this year to protect the devotees.
After the attack, 90 and 40 battalions of the CRPF were dispatched. According to the police, the intruders attacked this attack to target the security forces. According to IG of Jammu Kashmir, firing was done on the Special Operations Group (SOG) party. These attacks were on the police party, not Amarnath passengers, but they just got hit by this.
According to the information, the bike rider attacked the attack on the CRPF, then the bus came on its target. After this attack, the stir will start in Delhi too. The immediate meeting has started in the Home Ministry after the Amarnath attack. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has reached South Block. Ajit Doval has informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the situation regarding the attack.
