Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah wanted to change the candidate on Gandhinagar seat. Amit Shah himself was desirous of contesting from here but it was not so easy to replace BJP’s founder, Indian Politician’s oldest, Lal Krishna Advani. The sources said that the Prime Minister himself initiated several times for this.
According to information received from the sources, the top leadership was unable to raise the courage to raise this issue in the National Conference which was held in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. It is said that Advani was the biggest obstacle in the decision to give tickets to people over 75 years of age or not. But Operation Balakot encouraged the BJP leadership and the Prime Minister to take a decision on this issue.
It is said that when Advani himself did not want to contest elections, he was asked to tell the candidate of the choice. The proposal was proposed to get Advani’s daughter as the candidate from Gandhinagar seat. This time Advani tells his theory.
Advani said that he has opposed familyhood in politics throughout his life. Now how can the last phase of life go forward? After this, Advani expressed his desire to not contest from Gandhinagar considering the intention and the BJP’s top leadership changed the candidate by consulting the Prime Minister. Now Amit Shah will be the face of BJP from Gandhinagar.
