In less than 72 months, more than a million fans are expected to gather in Qatar to attend the 2022 World Cup.
Last night marked six years until the tournament kicks off with an opening ceremony at Lusail Stadium.
It’s also almost been six years since Qatar was awarded the tournament in the first place on Dec. 2, 2010.
FIFA World cup 2022 is going to be held in Qatar. The opening ceremony and the final is going to be held in Lusail, Qatar. And it doesn’t exist yet! I repeat, the city doesn’t exist!
They are going to build an entire city on the desert coast than includes an 86,000 seater stadium. It looks like this on paper:
