Jaisalmer The country’s third largest district spread over 40 thousand square kilometers. There are 840 villages in this district, out of which 436 are such, where no criminal incidents have been recorded for the last several years. That is, in more than half of the districts, ‘crime rate’ is zero.
Jaisalmer district’s Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Yadav points out, “The population here is very low, so the crime is no more than that. Second, most of these villages are where people from the same community live. Therefore, if there is a dispute, then it is settled with the mutual agreement. ‘
