In the news, reporters are focusing on public before the banks, ATMs’ and Hospitals. But nobody is giving a damn about the stress which Bank officials have to face just to normalize our life after the announcement of demonetization of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes in India.
Why don’t we think about them ? Are they not Indians? or Just because they are only doing their job?
Huge rush in Banks after the Demonetization of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 Notes:
Bank workers are severely affected by the Government’s decision. Usually, they have a work day of 8 hours from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Yesterday, most of the bank workers went to the office at 10 AM and came back today at 2 AM after clocking 16 hours straight in the office. This is the first time they worked for such a long duration.
Not only this, they will be crazily working on Bank Holidays tomorrow and day after tomorrow. For the second time, they will work on Sunday; their first working Sunday was for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana by PM Modi.
While talking to one of the Bank workers who is also my neighbor, I can feel that he was cheerful about the demonetization and said, “Modi Ji ki sergical strike me hum sab chitra gaye” (Modi Ji did sergical strike and we all got scattered). We are delighted with the decision; even when there is some inconvenience to us.
