There have been 6 tests since 2006 on this nuclear test site. According to photographs taken from the satellite after one day of the sixth test on September 3, there were several landslides in the area due to the explosion. A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck before the blast, and after a few minutes, there was another earthquake of 4.1 magnitudes.
