Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has laid special emphasis on reaching the office of all the government employees of Uttar Pradesh, has instructed the use of biometric system to keep track of the time of arrival and departure of the development block level personnel.
While giving this direction during the presentation of the Rural Development Department in Lucknow, the Chief Minister said that a board should be set up at every Gram Panchayat level, in which important information and mobile number of the village head and the employment service and the list of works being done and details of more plans are available.
He said that the Biometric Attendance of the personnel should be ensured till development block level. The Chief Minister also instructed the entire Village Development Department to be merged with Rural Development Department. He reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Rural, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, National Rural Livelihood Mission and Rural Drinking Water Program.
Yogi said that the goals of the rural people should be met in Prime Minister’s housing scheme . Registration of targeted 5.73 lakh families, photo uploading and acceptance of houses will be done promptly. Request to the Central Government to include those missing families whose name is not in the current list. Giving instructions to bring transparency in the activities related to MNREGA, he said that action should be taken to link working laborers with ‘Adhar based payment system’.
