PM annoyed by absence of MPs in Rajya Sabha

Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah took the absence of party MPs in the Rajya Sabha seriously and told the members that such indecent should not be repeated in future. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed resentment over the absence of BJP members from both the Houses.

The Bharatiya Janata Party announced its upcoming programs after its meeting today. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said after the meeting that Amit Shah expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of MPs in the Rajya Sabha. Shah said that all MPs should have been present in the House. All MPs should follow the three-line whip. The house should remain in the house until the end of the session. In the hearing, it is also coming that in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, during the voting, Amit Shah warned it is not good for democracy.

Let us know that the issue of granting constitutional status to the National Backward Classes Commission is again stuck. On Monday, due to the absence of several MPs, the Opposition managed to pass the amendment resolution in the Rajya Sabha. The opposition granted its consent only after the removal of rule 3 from the bill. The House approved the bill with the amendments of the opposition. Bill will now be sent back to the Lok Sabha. The National Commission for Backward Classes is to be formed through the 123rd Constitution Amendment Bill.
