Since ‘mirijiya’, the trend of parallel shedding of two edges of time in movies has increased. After ‘Phillauri’ released last days, ‘Rabta’ can be the third movie of this episode. Although Rabta seems different from the previous two films, this time it will be the story of two different times, but the hero and heroine will be the same. This was not so in the last two films. According to the Wikipedia page of the film, it is the Hindi remake of SS Rajmouuli’s superhit Telugu film ‘Magadhera’. Magadhera was a love story based on rebirth, whose Hindi dub version is telecasted on almost every other Saturday on TV and hence most of the Hindi audience is also familiar with this movie.
At the moment the trailer that tells the story is not different from Magadhera. In the trailer, Shiva and Saira collide with each other on an overseas location and they fall in love. In the first two four frames, along with this colorful romantic story, a black and white story goes on the screen as well. This story is a glimpse of their past birth. If you have not seen Magadhera then you will understand this by seeing the second part of the trailer. On the advancing of the love story, there is an entry of a villainous character. As soon as it comes, there is a mysterious sequence seen in the changing frames.
This is the first film to be directed by Dinesh Vijan, producer of many amazing films including Love Aaj Kal, Agent Vinod, Finding Fanny, Badlapur. This new story is not as fresh as it is, but its treatment will be good, this hope awakens after watching a two-minute 19-second trailer. After coming to the rest of the screen, the film will be able to see the audience, whether it will be revealed on June 9 with the release of the movie.
