The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is selling the old notes of Rs 1000 and 500 at Rs 250 per ton. These notes are being sold to a company in Kerala. the company carries these notes to their conclusion.
Kerala-based Western India Plywood (WIP) is purchasing the old currency from RBI.
The task of the notes has been carried out to about 71-year-old company by RBI. The company has gone through the test. only after the successful completion of the test tender has been issued on behalf of the Central Bank.
