Send a Sandesh to our Soldiers this Diwali – Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a special video message saying this to citizens and dedicating the upcoming Diwali festival to soldiers.
In the video message PM Modi appealed to the citizens of India to remember the armed forces serving across different parts of India and send them a letter on this Diwali. The 3-minute video aims at evoking emotions of thankfulness and pride for the armed forces.

“Prime Minister spent Diwali of 2014 with the people of Jammu and Kashmir after the devastating floods there and 2015 with soldiers posted at the world’s highest battlefield of Siachen. This year too he wanted to mark Diwali for people who may not be able to join their families for this festival,” said a source in the Prime Minister’s Office.
