Hugh Jackman seems to be a fan of Bollywood’s King Khan. When recently asked, by film critic and journalist Rajeev Masand, about his last appearance as Wolverine/Logan, and his feelings on watching another actor play the superhero, the Australian actor candidly said “maybe Shah Rukh Khan could play it”. Now, that’s really impressive isn’t it, coming from Jackman himself.
Jackman has played the character of Wolverine for past 17 years. Now, that the final movie is about to release, it was asked whether he would be okay if somebody else played his character. “I think I’ll be fine with it. I hope other people play it. May be Shah Rukh Khan could play it.” he said.
For those who don’t remember, in 2011, when Hugh Jackman was in India for FICCI Frames, Shah Rukh Khan was the one who hosted him and they had even set the dance floor on fire, along with Vidya Balan.
Directed by James Mangold and co-starring Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Patrick Stewart and Boyd Halbrook, Logan is Hugh Jackman’s ninth and final Wolverine movie. Logan will hit the theatres on March 3. The actor first played the iconic character in 2000’s X-Men.
