The killing of Tarishi Jain, 19-year-old Indian National in Dhaka terror strike, has left the world mourning.
The three youths Tarishi, Abinta Kabir, 19, and Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, 20 were the alumni of the American school, United Nations road in Baridhara. Sources revealed that Faraaz, one of the three youths could have escaped, but he made the decision not to leave his friends behind.
A real friend indeed, only one option was there, to live or to die, but Faraaz preferred death along with his friends. A noble sacrifice for those irrespective of their difference in religions, nationality.
This truth revealed during questioning with the hostages who have been rescued, sources told the Indian Express.
According to the sources, Faraaz was given the choice of leaving behind late by attackers but he refused. Terrorists asked Faraz about the nationality of Abinta and Tarishi. According to the sources, he told them that they were from India and the US.
Tarishi was the only Indian amongst 20 victims of Dhaka attack. The Jain family, originally belongs to Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, is residing in Dhaka for two decades now.
