BJP leader and former MP from Uttarakhand who fought for the temple rights of dalits in the state, met Shri Ramnath Kovind today and greeted him on behalf of Uttrakhand , specially the Dalits. he said that a scholar , humble and highly erudite Ramnath ji’s elevation to the office of the President will enhance the grace and glory of the high office. Recalling bthe stone pelting incident last year , Tarun Vijay said that when he fought for the temple entry rights of dalits in Uttarakhand and was stoned with deadly hate, it was Shri Ramnath Kovind who supported him and stood by his side. He will be ever grateful to him.
He said that Shri Kovind’s nomination has strengthened the morale of all nationalists specially the dalits who feel their struggle’s mirror image in his person. Tarun Vijay said that the nation will always be grateful to PM Shri Narendra Modi and Party president Shri Amit Shah for nominating Shri Kovind for the President’s post. There couldn’t have been a better choice, he added.
