James Bond is a 1999 Malayalam language comedy film directed by Baiju Kottarakkara and starring Premkumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Bheeman Raghu, Indrans, Abi and Vani Viswanath. The film is a remake of 1994 Hollywood film Baby’s Day Out.
Why would someone name a ‘Baby’s Day Out’ remake ‘James Bond’ ?
Maybe they titled it as a way to grab attention for the film. People wouldn’t be willing to see some random film, but they’d probably pay to see a James Bond film. It’s just a guess, though.
