There is a village in India, near Purnea, Bihar (state) in India, which is named Pakistan. (Pakistan, India). It is a tiny village that lies 30 km from Purnia, the district headquarters, and is located in Srinagar Block (yes, there is Srinagar block in Bihar)
During the partition of 1947, which was a widespread displacement and holocaust of different kind, many Muslims who stayed in this village migrated to East Pakistan, as Purnia lay adjacent. The inhabitants of the village renamed it Pakistan in rememberance of the people who left.
Reports suggest that the villagers did not want war between the two countries and wanted to spread the message of peace and brotherhood.
And if that was not enough , there is a Bihar in Pakistan near mardan region!
