Coldplay is to perform in India and the fans are going nuts about it. They call it the ‘dream event’. Its totally understandable why fans are going crazy, afterall it ‘Coldplay’ that is going to perform. But is it really that big a thing.
There are many Indians who are settled in other countries and there they appreciate, participate and organise events to showcase their Indian culture. There they value it alot. As it is rightly said ‘Self possessions are always undermined and others possession seem better’.
Developing and accepting new things is good but one should never forget where he came from. Always treasure your culture, like the pople who live far away from it does.
