The police arrested Ganesh Kumar, the 12th topper in the Bihar’s topper scandal in 2017. Ganesh Kumar was arrested on the evening of Friday (June 2). He was accused of falsifying the date of birth. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) said that Ganesh told his age 24 years but he is 41 years old. Not only that, he has two children. On this case, DSP Shavali Nomani of Patna Kotwali said that Ganesh was first taken to the board and later handed over to him.
In the 12th examination, Ganesh topped by securing 82.6% marks. But he did not even answer the simple questions related to music. On the other hand, 64.75% of the children in Bihar have failed. The worst results are reported in the history of BSEB over the last 20 years. On Tuesday, 30.11% of science students, 37.11% of commerce students passed. At the same time, the passing percentage in the commerce was 73.76.
