Uber’s Food Delivery Service, which works just like Swiggy. It was first launched in Mumbai. Now it has also been launched in Delhi-NCR. It was launched in Mumbai in May last month, now Delhi-NCR has become the second city to get this service. For now, this service is only available in Gurgaon and the company says that it will be launched very soon in the rest of Delhi.
Rathore, head of UberEATS India, on the launch of Delhi, says, “The launch in Mumbai was very successful, in just 8 weeks, it has served in many areas of Mumbai.”
Rathore said that the parallel UberEATS service UBER will do the business but the delivery will not be done by the taxi. Rather, it has been kept in the two-wheeler fleet partnership. These two-wheelers will deliver food. Uber will recover the money from the restaurant and will pay the pickup fee.
Food can be ordered through UberEATS in two ways, one is a regular way to order food orders from any food delivery app. Secondly, if you are in a car and you want your food to reach your home, then you can order food by selecting the UberEATS prompt option in the Uber app. Also, if you want, you can change the time and location too. The UberEATS app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Android Play Store.
