A family of Lucknow has claimed the ownership rights of the UP congress headquarters land. Manish Agrawal, a member of this family, has claimed that the land on which the office of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee is located is his property which his great-grandfather Roshan Lal had bought for 1.75 lakh rupees in an auction. He has applied in Lucknow Municipal Corporation to transfer this property to his family name.
Due to his application, the municipal corporation has given a week’s time to submit documents owned by the Congress party office. At present, these properties are registered by the senior Congress leader Mohsina Kidwai in Lucknow Municipal Corporation’s documents. But, according to the record, by which the name of Kidwai is recorded, is does not exist in corporation, because in 1976, this property was registered on the name of Rama Agarwal and Padmavati Agarwal. After the year 1986, these property records of (c / o) Mohsina Kidwai were recorded in the records of the householder, it is now under investigation.
Here, Congress leader Gishan Haider said that the party has all the documents of ownership of this property, and all the documents will be handed over to the corporation during the time. They have termed it as a way to gain cheap popularity. Now it is to see how the Congress comes out of this new trouble.
