Narendra Modi and Mamata Banerjee attended the Atal Pension Yojna (I guess not sure) which was held in Kolkata. Mamata straightforwardly targeted the Government by saying –
“More than 1000 Gram Panchayats don’t have banking sector. No bank is present even now. We tried for 171 out of these 1000. But I request Government to please see that every Gram Panchayat has one banking facility.”
Narendra Modi calmly listened to this sitting on the same dais. There was no sort of tension what so ever on his face. He patiently waited for his turn.
Once he got the opportunity, he said the following in style –
“Now Respected CM was saying in her speech, that villages don’t have banks”
Next line was a masterstroke by the PM:
“ This is the result of 60 years of their Governance!!”
The auditorium erupts with Modi.. Modi.. Modi..
And he continues, (the expression of Mamata Banerjee says it all)
“Her pain is natural and I want to add to her words. She said these words in front of me because she knows it well that if anyone can make it possible then it’s only me (Modi).” (He said it in typical Modi style)
The auditorium erupts again with claps and whistles.!!
