In accordance to psychologists Polly Dalton and Sandra Murphy, who examined a group of participants connecting with both physical and visual stimuli, the brain is unable to fully appreciate the physical when distracted with the visual.
To put it simply, our brain is unable to fully focus on two directions at once. Denying the view from kissing so would better enjoy the tactile pleasure it provides
