8 yr old Tajjamul,of Army Goodwill School,Bandipora Kashmir wins Gold Medal in World Kickboxing championship in Italy.
A resident of Tarkpora village in Bandipora district, 65 km from Srinagar, Islam is a student of the Army Goodwill School. Islam’s brother and two sisters also practice kickboxing. Appreciating the talent, State Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar said, “It’s a proud moment”.
She has created history at such a young age, she has made India proud by winning gold at the world championship.
In the World Kickboxing Championship of under-eight players in Italy’s Andria this Eight-year-old Kashmiri girl creates history by winning the gold medal for India on Friday. “In five days, Tajamul Islam won six games,” said her coach Master Fasil Ali.
